Anne-Louise has been an enthusiastic gardener since she was a child. She has always had a passion for nature, art and design. She has a very practical approach to finding creative solutions to difficult problems. She has an excellent working knowledge of horticultural, landscaping and garden design elements. She now runs her own business, InsideOut.

Karel started the garden in 1992. In the beginning there was only clay, weeds and building rubble. Over the next decade the structural elements of the garden were added according to the dictates of finance and the needs of the animals. In 2001, the garden, won the best garden over 3 years old in the Glenmore Park Beautiful Garden Competition.

Anne-Louise started working in the garden in 2005. She has used her horticultural, her vast experience and unique perceptions to build on the foundation and transform the garden into the productive, interesting, multi-layered work of art that it is today.
